Wheelchair rugby is a fantastic game, combining tactics, skill, speed and aggression. Some players are looking to be the best they can be others just enjoy the game and keep up their fitness.
Wheelchair Rugby is fantastic sport for tetraplegics and anybody with an upper-limb impairment. If you can push a wheelchair then you can play!
It is a Paralympic sport and there is also a Domestic league comprising 6-10 teams across the country.
As a spectator sport it is great to watch; with end-to-end action, thrills, spills and lots of goals. At the Sydney Olympics, games were pulling crowds of 10,000.
